ingen sin baby, a short film
"Ingen sin baby" (Nobody's baby), was Sofie's bachelor project from Catalyst - Institue of Creative Art and Technology in Berlin. It was filmed in febuary 2023 in Oslo.
"Ingen sin baby" is a short experimental film following a woman in her mid 20's, through her pain and
agony connected to her hurting uterus.
We were a small team. The actress, two set- and costume-designers and the producer on set. While directing I was also handeling the camera, which feels very organic holding it close to my body. The whole film is based on personal experiences as well as other women, friends and unkowns, that I've talked to both in person and online.
When we were done shooting I made a stop motion part out of figures and a small city out of play dough, milk cartons, wool and aluminium foil.
The project is done, but we're making a new cut.
It's in post-production now through 2025 and I will send it to festivals hopefully at the end of the year.
